PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of filter walls by supporting the filter walls in the central side part and outside circumferential side part of a filter element by means of an end plate. CONSTITUTION:An end plate 4 to be mounted to a filter element 3 is constituted of annular support parts 5-7 having grooves 5a-7a, and plural pieces of webs 8, flanges 9 and bosses 10 connecting these support parts, which are formed of resin materials in one body. The parts projecting from the end parts of the filter walls 3a of the element 3 are inserted into the grooves 5a-7a in the parts 5-7 of such plate 4 and are tightly sealed with an adhesive 11. An annular gasket 12 is fitted to the flanges and the end plate is grasped between a cap 13 and a case 14, and the assembly is fastened and fixed by means of a bolt 16 and a nut 17 with a packing 15.
