CIRCULATION TYPE COMMODITY STORAGE DEVICE AND ITS USAGE

PURPOSE:To effectively use a space and to make it quicker to take commodity out by forming a closed loop circulatory route by way of providing a lateral transport device sideways between both sides adjacent to two rows of longitudinal transport devices arranged side by side, in the device in the title for a storage warehouse and by adding taking-in/out device to the circulatory route. CONSTITUTION:A rectangle frame 1 is formed in the forward and backward direction by means of supports 2, crossbeams 3, and crossing stays 4, the right half part of the front end part is formed into a commodity entrance room 5, and upper and lower four steps of a base 7 formed with a horizontal beam 6 are connected to each other to form the room 5. This base 7 is provided with mutually adjacent two rows of transport devices 8 and 9 for longitudinal transport and one pair of lateral transport devices 10 and 11 for transport between both ends to cross at right angles with the front and back sides of both transport devices 8, 9 so as to form one rectangular loop circulating route. Also in the commodity entrance room 5, a commodity taking-in/out device 15 (stacker crane, etc.) is provided.
