Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain an isobutylene oligomer emulsion having low molecular weight and suitable as a solvent for copying, wax diluent, etc., by compounding two specific kinds of emulsifiers such as polyoxyethylene fatty acid ester. CONSTITUTION:The objective isobutylene oligomer emulsion composed of 1-75wt.% of solid component of the emulsion and the remaining part of water is produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of 8-30C isobutylene oligomer and/or its hydrogenated product with (B) 1-20 pts.wt., preferably 5-15 pts.wt. of a polyoxyethylene fatty acid ester of formula (R is alkyl or alkenyl; n is integer other than 0, preferably 1-20) and (C) 0.1-10 pts.wt., preferably 0.5-5 pts.wt. of a sorbitan fatty acid ester or polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester.
