UNMANNED CONTROL DEVICE FOR MECHANICAL TYPE PARKING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To simplify operation by automatically executing the in/out operation of a vehicle and the display and recovery of a parking charge based on the information stored in a card under an unmanned state. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle arrives at an inlet/outlet part 8 of a machine type parking device 1, a vehicle detecting device 8a detects the vehicle, a card issuing machine displays IN time and issues a magnetic card C and inputs a cage number of a cage 4 for parking the vehicle to a microcomputer. When a driver ejects the card C, a safety door 6 is opened. The driver mounts the vehicle on an empty cage in the IN/OUT part 7 and goes out from the IN/OUT part 7. When an absence detecting device 7a closes the door 6 at the time of detecting absence. When the driver inserts the card C into a card insertion/ejection port 11e at the time of going out from the parking cage, the IN time is read out, the marking charge is displayed on a charge display part 11f and the movement of the OUT cage to the ON/OUT part 7 is commanded. When the driver puts the charge into a slot 11g, the OUT cage is moved to the IN/OUT part 7 and the door 6 is opened. Since the IN/OUT operation of the vehicle is executed by the card, it is unnecessary for the driver to memorize the parking position or depress a pushbutton or the like.
