USE:An agent for improving, treating and preventing mental symptom accompanying cerebrovascular disorder, having excellent glutamate isolation suppressing action and useful in mental symptom accompanying to cerebrovascular disorder such as cerebral apoplexy, cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction or cerebral atherosclerosis, multiple infarction dementia. PREPARATION:A halogenated product expressed by the formula A-H-Hal (Hal is halogen) is subjected to dehydrohalogenation reaction with a compound expressed by formula III without using any solvent or in a solvent such as ethanol in the presence of a base (e.g., triethylamine) under heating to provide the compound expressed by formula I.
