SYSTEM DATA INPUT SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To input system data while a telephone exchange is operated by providing a writing unit having a temporary storing memory for the system data between a reader for the system data and the CPU of a main control unit and reading the system data stored in the temporary storing memory. CONSTITUTION:When the system data recorded in a recording medium 4 are read by a data reader 3, the read system data are once stored in the temporary storing memory (an FIFO memory) in a writing unit 2-6. The storing of the system data in the temporary storing memory is executed from the data reader 3 according to a command and executed asynchronously with the processing of a CPU101 of a main control unit 1. When access time t6 for the writing unit 2-6 comes, the CPU101 reads the system data temporarily stored in the temporary storing memory of the writing unit 2-6 up to that time and once stores the read system data in a buffer memory 103.
