IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To display the most easily visible screen to an operator by changing the display magnification of information which has been read out of a character information storage means in accordance with vertical and horizontal positions of a CRT. CONSTITUTION:When a position of a CRT 1 changes, the position of the CRT 1 is informed by a position detecting part 15. Data is written as it is in a character bit map memory 11, and when it is read out by a reading-out circuit 17, the data from the memory is read out by a raster unit, and by determining the number of rasters to be read out in accordance with the enlargement magnification, it is enlarged in the vertical direction. On the other hand, when the CRT 1 is in the horizontal position, the data outputted by rotating by 90 deg. from a rotary buffer 131 is written in the character bit map, and thereafter, enlarged by the same operation as the foregoing, and displayed. In this case, an optimum enlargement ratio is set to a control register 21 to match the vertical and horizontal positions. In such a way, a guidance screen on the display screen becomes the most easily visible size and displayed.
