METHOD FOR CAUSING FALL OF ARTIFICIAL SNOW AND ICE

PURPOSE:To enable snow and ice which are similar to natural ones to be scatterd without damage by a method wherein cold air flow is generated within a snow and ice growing chamber with cold air of a specified temperature, cold water is injected from a nozzle together with high pressure air to cause the liquid to be liquid droplets having a specified particle diameter and frozen to substantial spherical fine particles and combined and grown. CONSTITUTION:Air stored within an air tank 1 is mixed with low temperature air sent from a cooler 3b through a dehumidifier 2 to control its temperature to -30--40 deg.C or so, guided into a snow and ice growing chamber 8 to gener ate a cold air flow A. Cold water is injected from a nozzle 9 into a chamber 8 together with high pressure air to make liquid droplets B of 10 to several tens mum or so, they are frozen by cold air flow A and then liquid droplets are combined to each other. With this operation, it is possible to grow the liquid into artificial snow and ice which are similar to natural ones. The snow and ice are scattered from a scattering port 15 into the surrounding atmosphere together with cold air A, resulting in that show piled condition which is similar to that of natural one can be realized and the damage can be prevented.
