PRODUCTION OF LOGIC DRAWING

PURPOSE:To produce an easy-to-read logic diagram by dividing a logic symbol into plural small logic symbols in case the modulus of the logic symbol is large and allocating these small logic symbols to unallocated areas of the logic diagram. CONSTITUTION:The form of an area where the logic symbols are not allocated is grasped based on the information showing the allocation state of the logic symbols on a logic diagram. Then the undefined logic elements and their forms are compared with each other and these logic elements are distributed to the unallocated areas. In such a way, the unallocated areas are controlled on the logic diagram. Then the comparison is carried out between the sizes of the unallocated areas and those of the undefined logic symbols as well as between the unallocated areas and their forms. Thus the undefined logic symbols are divided and allocated when an allocation unable state is decided. As a result, the undefined logic symbols can be allocated within the same page in parallel with the related logic symbol groups. At the same time, the blank areas are used effectively.
