CONTROL OPERATION DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

PURPOSE:To keep off any damage to equipment of an elevator due to an earthquake by issuing a control operation command of a seismic sensor in the elevator properly in adding vibro-acceleration and a vibration period or vibro- frequency. CONSTITUTION:Vibrations in a building due to an earthquake and a strong wind are detected by a vibro-acceleration detecting element A, and the maximum of vibro-acceleration and a vibration period at the time of maximum vibro-acceleration generation are stored in a maximum vibro-acceleration storage part B and a vibration period storage part C at the time of the maximum vibro-acceleration generation, respectively. Here, since the vibro-acceleration has both positive and negative values, such consideration as taking the absolute value to the negative vibro-acceleration is necessary. A comparing part D compares it with the preset value with the vibro-acceleration and the vibration period, thereby generating a proper control operation command to the elevator.
