Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To simplify operability and to provide its security by arranging in such a way that setting operation with a high frequency of alternation, which is set for each photographing, requires the operation of a single key whereas setting operation with a low frequency of that, which is seldom used, requires the operation of two kinds of keys. CONSTITUTION:On the exterior of the main body B of a camera, information setting parts of two groups consisting of the film information group I related to a film and the exposure information group II related to exposure, and the display device III to display photographing information which has been set, are provided. Protective covers 5 and 15 respectively prevent the film information group I and exposure information group II from being inadvertently set by accidental contact. The frame number of a film, photographic sensitivity, etc., are set in the information group I; they are displayed on the display device III when the cover 5 is shut. In the information group II, when the input key 12 is pressed after the cover 15 is opened, the display of the display device III sequentially varies. When a desired display is shown, pressing the key is stopped. The keys 13 and 14 are used for setting a desired value. Information with a high frequency of alteration requires operation by one operation member and information with a low frequency requires operation by two operation members. Therefore, this prevents inadvertent input and provides security.
