Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To economically obtain the title CaCO3 useful as a papermaking filler, by incorporating CO2-introduced limemilk with a water-soluble polysaccharide and/or sulfuric acid (salt) followed by carbonation. CONSTITUTION:1-10ml, per g of Ca(OH)2, of CO2 is introduced into limemilk 7-16g/100ml in Ca(OH)2 concentration at 25 deg.C under a condition that the pH value does not decrease by >=0.2 from the value prior to introducing the CO2 to a point >=5% in carbonization rate. Thence, between 60 and 75% in the carbonization rate of the limemilk, said limemilk is incorporated with >=1X10, per mol of Ca(OH)2, of a water-soluble polysaccharide (e.g. sucrose) and/or sulfuric acid (salt) (e.g. CaSO4) followed by introduction of
