POSITIONING DEVICE FOR PLATE

PURPOSE:To prevent a plate from rebounding, etc., in a positioning time and to accurately position it by providing a brake shoe to apply pressure to a guide device as well as the plate before a positioning stopper to stop and position the plate fed out along the upper surface of the guide device. CONSTITUTION:A position adjuster 28 is provided with a supporting plate 29 protruded downward and at its lower end part is provided with a positioning stopper 21 like an end plate which collides with the end part of the plate 13 fed out sliding on the surface of a guide device 19, stops and positions the plate 13. A brake shoe 20 putting the plate 13 between a skid bar 26 and a roller conveyor 25 is located in front of the stopper 21, and the brake shoe 20 is set on an air cylinder 31 mounted on the supporting plate 29 through the end plate 30. Since the air cylinder 31 always energizes the brake shoe 20 to the plate 13, the brake shoe 20 applied pressure from above to the plate 13 slid in to give braking force.
