AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE:To prevent the condensation in the line routed indoors by continuing the operation as the sensing is continuously performed on the pipe temperature of the near side finned pipes of an indoor heat exchanging unit, the room temperature or the atmospheric temperature, and, after a certain elapsed time, modulating the pulse frequency for controlling a reducing device so as to satisfy the predetermined conditions. CONSTITUTION:Upon a startup of cooling mode operation, the pipe temperature (t) of the near side finned pipes of an indoor heat exchanging unit is fed from a temperature sensor 8 to a control circuit 9, and it is compared with the set temperature (t1) set by a temperature setting unit 20 in a first comparator means 21. If t >t1, the timer built in a timer means 22 is activated to start the counting, and compares the stored set time T1 with the counted time T by the timer. At the point where T>=T1, a pulse frequency sensing means 23 detects the pulse frequency for controlling a reducing device 4, and a variable pulse frequency setting means 24 modulates the pulse frequency of the reducing device 4 and controls the output circuit 6 to raise the pulse frequency of the reducing device 4 in order to adjust its opening. Subsequent to the point where t = t1, the cooling mode operation is continued under the normal operation control with the condensation.
