Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve heat efficiency and to reduce cost of equipment by forming coke packed layer and fluidized bed of powdery ore at upper part of the above packed layer in a furnace body and blowing oxygen and circulating gas from the lower part of the furnace body. CONSTITUTION:Lump coke is charged is the lower part of the furnace body 1 from a coke charging hole 3 to form the coke packed layer 9 and on the upper part of the packed layer 9 powdery ore is charged from a raw material charging hole 4 to form the fluidized bed 10 of the powdery ore. The oxygen is blown into the furnace body 1 through oxygen supplying pipe 11 connected with lower tuyeres 6. Further, circulating gas supplying pipe 17 for returning the circulating gas into the furnace body 1 from a cyclon 13, is connected with upper tuyeres 5. Therefore, as smelting reduction is executed at the lower part of the furnace body 1 and also preceeded it, pre-reduction is executed at the upper part of the furnace body 1 and sensible heat of gas at the time of executing the smelting reduction can be used as heat needed to the pre-reduction, and heat loss is a little and the excellent heat efficiency can de obtd.
