Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain at a low cost composite powder in great quantities made up of metal boride, metal nitride, and boron nitride, by hot hydrostatic pressing of metal boride present in metal boride powdery granules in an atmosphere with each specified nitrogen partial pressure and temperature. CONSTITUTION:Metal borides in metal boride powdery granules >=95wt.% in purity is put to hot hydrostatic press treatment by heating to >=700 deg.C in an atmosphere with a nitrogen partial pressure >=10atm to cause partial decomposition to produce metal nitrides and boron nitride, thus obtaining the objective composite powder. Said metal nitrides and boron nitride are both included in each identical metal boride powdery granule, therefore having finely composite effect.
