METHOD OF CONTROLLING DUST COLLECTOR FOR BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE:To decrease the suction energy by the dust collection in raw material feeding sections by determining the time allowed to be spent for raw material feeding of plural raw material tanks from actually measured values, constituting combinations of the plural feeding devices, and opening dampers during the operation of the feeding devices. CONSTITUTION:The actually measured value of the time necessary for raw material handling is read and further, the time required for the raw material of the next time is predicted after the feeding of the raw material. The number of the segments to which the feeding time of the respective raw material tanks can be divided is calculated by taking the transport time into account and the time allowed to be spent for raw material feeding is determined. The operation combination of the plural feeding devices in this time is so constituted that the total sum of the energy to suck the dust generated in the feeding device sections is minimized. The dust is collected by opening the dampers attached to the hoods for dust collection provided to the dust generating parts of the feeding devices only when the feeding devices operate.
