Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To secure advantages in respective of cost and also in respect of process shortening in zinc-aluminum alloy hot dipping by using a composition consisting of zinc chloride and ammonium salt of organic acid as a flux. CONSTITUTION:As a flux for zinc-aluminum alloy hot dipping, a composition consisting of zinc chloride and ammonium salt of organic acid is used. As the ammonium salt of organic acid, the ammonium salts of various organic acids, such as monocarboxylic acid and malonic acid, are used. Further, the fluorides, acidic fluorides, silicofluorides, and chlorides of alkali metals and alkaline-earth metals, indium chloride, tin chloride, lead chloride, and antimony chloride are incorporated to the above composition. By this method, advantages can be secured in respect of cost and also in respect of process shortening in zinc- aluminum alloy hot dipping.
