BLADE FOR ELECTRIC SHAVER

PURPOSE:To stick an inner blade fast to an outer blade by a slight upward force when the inner blade is brought into contact with an outer blade by making the flexural rigidity at the center section of the outer blade smaller than that of the other portion, and forming the center section of the outer blade into a curved face. CONSTITUTION:The center section 1a of an outer blade 1 is formed into a curved face in advance in such a way that, when an inner blade 2 is combined with outer blade 1, the outer blade 1 comes into contact with the inner blade 2 first at the center section A, and a gap becomes larger as a point is apart further away from the center section. In addition, the flexural rigidity at the center section of the outer blade can be made smaller than that of the other portion so that it can be jointly pushed upward by slighter force. This permits the inner blade 2 to come closely into contact with the outer blade 1 with a slighter pushing-up force applied, even if the inner blade 2 has a radius of curvature which is so small that the center section 2a of the inner blade 2 comes hardly in contact with the outer blade. By this constitution, the cutting property is improved, thereby the sliding load of the inner blade 2 against the outer blade 1 being reduced, because close contact between both the blades is well maintained.
