MANUFACTURE OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To weld a junction terminal to a coil terminal by providing a receiving portion, which is a downward extension of a coil terminal portion projecting from a base and is exposed below the lower surface of the base, and positioning the junction terminal, provided to a coil device, on the projecting terminal portion and carrying out the welding with the electrodes abutting the upside of the junction terminal and the underside of the receiving portion. CONSTITUTION:In an electrical equipment wherein a coil 23 is wound about a spool 22 on a base 1 having a coil terminal 15, and a coil block 21 to whose junction terminal 24, 24 connected are both ends of the coil 23 respectively, and the junction terminal 24 is positioned on a connecting portion 16 of the coil terminal 15 projecting form the base and these are to be connected each other, there is provided a receiving portion 17, which is a downward extension of the junction portion 16 of the coil terminal 15a and is exposed below the lower surface of the base, and the coil terminal 15a and the junction terminal 24 are welded each other by causing the electrodes to abut the receiving portion 17 and the junction terminal 24 positioned on the connecting portion 16 respectively. As the connection is effected by welding instead of soldering, the cleaning process for removing solder flux becomes unnecessary so that the productivity can be improved and the contact resistance can be stabilized.
