Zusammenfassung:	Dispersions containing (a) a pigment, (b) an oxalkylated novolak, (c) urea and/or a compound containing at least 2 long-chain aliphatic groups and which are connected via a bridge member containing ester and/or amide groups, and (d) water and/or agents retarding drying up, and, optionally, usual adjuvants, are useful for pigmenting natural or synthetic materials, especially aqueous systems containing cellulose ethers.
