Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To form a sharp color sorting line by molding a main body in such a state that a plate-shaped guard is expanded along color sorting scheduled line and applying painting to the surface to be painted of the main body or to the surface of the aforementioned guard continuous to said surface to be painted and removing the guard from the main body. CONSTITUTION:A main body 5 (e.g., a mat guard for a vehicle) is molded in such a state that a plate-shaped guard 31 is expanded along a color sorting scheduled line. Painting is applied to the region P of the main body 5, that is, to the surface 9 to be painted of the main body 5 or the upper surface of the guard 3 continuous to the surface 9 to be painted. Subsequently, the guard 31 is removed from the main body 5. As a result, a sharp color sorting line can be formed by simple work.
