| Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To make the total length of an optical fiber cable to be used shortest by constructing a bus type optical network system by two optical fiber cables to be a basic trunk and a branch optical fiber cable to connect a communication control device and an optical directional coupler respectively. CONSTITUTION:The title system is constituted of the basic trunk transmission lines 1a, 1b using an optical fiber cable, the optical directional couplers 2a, 2b, 2n to be inserted in these transmission lines and the communication control devices 4a, 4b, 4n connected to the optical directional couplers 2a, 2b, 2n respectively. Each optical directional coupler 2a, 2b, 2n is constituted respectively of optical branching units 2a1-2a4, 2b1-2b4, 2n1-2n4 consisting of a half mirror respectively, and optical level regenerators 2a5, 2a6, 2b5, 2b6 2n5, 2n6. Thus, since a star coupler is not used, the total length of the optical fiber cable to be used can be shortened. |
