Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To improve the evaporatingly dissipating effect of brake fluid which permeated through a hose in a reservoir hose for a brake by forming a plurality of grooves to provide a specific surface area rate to the surface in the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:In a reservoir hose made of ethylene propylene diene rubber for connecting a brake master cylinder to a reservoir tank installed in a higher position than the cylinder, a plurality of grooves having a square section along the longitudinal direction are formed on its outer peripheral surface. By defining the area of the surface having no grooves as (a) while defining the area of the surface having the grooves as (b), the grooves are formed so that, b/a=1.2 or more. Also, the surface roughness of the rubber is set at 20-45mu, in the surface roughness specified by the JIS-B-0601. Thereby, the characteristic of evaporatingly dissipating brake fluid which permeated through the hose onto its surface into atmosphere can be improved preventing the stagnation of the brake fluid on the hose surface. |
