SYSTEM FOR CONNECTING PAGING SERVICE

PURPOSE:To perform economical paging service by providing a gateway exchange in the same step as a trunk exchange and a paging service exchange under the gateway exchange and giving telecommunication enterprise identification codes and service kinds to a service switch network. CONSTITUTION:A gateway exchange IGS is provided in the same step as a trunk exchange TS and the paging service exchange PGS of a paging service switch network and the new service exchange NS of another new service switch network are provided under the gateway exchange IGS. To the exchanges PGS and NS telecommunication enterprise identification codes are given in a number zone which is different from the exchange identification codes of local exchanges LS1-3 and service kind codes which distinguish the exchanges PGS and NS from each other are provided. Therefore, ordinary originating subscribers SUB1-3 can be connected to paging service subscribers through the exchanges LS1-3, TS, and IGS when they dial the telecommunication enterprise identification codes, service kind codes, and subscriber identification numbers of the paging service subscribers.
