Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent wrong erasure of recorded information by means of an external magnetic field and to suppress the deformation in a high-temperature environment by providing plural shielding structures having different frequency characteristics at the front or rear surface or inside of the jacket main body in mixed states. CONSTITUTION:This jacket for recording medium is constituted of a jacket main body 1, center hole 2 for rotating a floppy disk which is a magnetic recording medium, data holes 3 and 4, head window 5 which becomes the window section for recording and reproduction, label area 6 for sticking label, and hole 7 for loading. Then shielding materials having different characteristics are mixed to the front or rear surface or inside of the jacket main body 1 in accordance with the frequency band to be shielded and nature of the frequency. Therefore, the shielding materials provided to the front or rear surface or inside of the main body 1 act as shielding members and in addition, increase the strength of the jacket. Thus wrong erasure of recorded information by means of an external magnetic field can be prevented and deformation in a high-temperature environment can be suppressed.
