Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve power generation efficiency, by a method wherein a converging weir having buoyancy is installed in front of an air chamber for wave force generation, and a wide angle of the converging weir with the air chamber is controllable. CONSTITUTION:An air chamber 2 is formed to the interior of a body part 9, and a generating chamber 10 is located on the body part 9. A converging weir 1, having buoyancy, is located in front on the air chamber 2 such that it is widen toward the end at angles of theta1 and theta2 with a base line C, and the opening of the converging weir 1 is adjustable by means of winches 5a-5d. In case when with a height of, for example, 2m or more rolls upon the weir, the angles of theta1 and theta2 of the converging weir 1 are decreased, and in case a wave height is below 2m, the angles of theta1 and theta2 are increased. Thus, the height of entering waves can be increased to a value at which a power can be generated or can be controlled to a value at which waves are prevented from crush, and this enables improvement of power generating efficiency.
