DISPLAY DEVICE FOR CAMERA

PURPOSE:To accomplish exposure in accordance with photographor's intention by simultaneously using an analog display and a digital display for the display of exposure correction amount and displaying accurate inappropriate exposure on a digital display part and an analog display part in case where inappropriate exposure in obtained at the time of automatic exposure. CONSTITUTION:At the time of exposure correction, the correction amount is displayed on the analog display part and the digital display part. At the time of automatic exposure control, the information on a photographic factor with which the exposure is appropriate is displayed only on the digital display part if the appropriate exposure is obtained and the deviation amount from the appropriate exposure is displayed on the analog display part and the digital display part if the exposure becomes inappropriate. Since the analog display and the digital display are simultaneously used for the display of the exposure correction amount, displaying is easily understood. Since the accurate inappropriate exposure is displayed on the digital display part and the analog display part if the exposure is inappropriate at the time of automatic exposure, the exposure control in accordance with the photographor's intention can be performed.
