Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:The reaction of a blocked polyisocyanate with a polyol is carried out in the presence of a specific phenol derivative and an organotin compound to increase the catalytic effect and produce a polyurethane polymer used in a paint at a relatively low baking temperature. CONSTITUTION:The reaction between (A) a blocked isocyanate (an addition product from a polyisocyanate and a blocking agent such as phenol) and (B) an active hydrogen-containing compound such as polyetherpolyol is carried out in the presence of (C) dialkyltin or diaryltin and/or monoalkyltin or monoaryltin compound such as dimethyltin oxide and (D) 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-dipyridyl or 2,4,6- tris(dimethylaminomethyl)phenol as catalysts to produce the objective polymer. The preferable amount of catalyst C is 0.1-1% and D is 0.4-40% based on component B. |
