Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To reduce vibration of each part by a method wherein after a work of grinding a crank pin, correction is made so that center holes previously formed in both end surfaces of a crank shaft coincide with the axis of a journal part, and thereafter the crank shaft is held by means of the center holes to apply a grinding work on a journal part. CONSTITUTION:Subsequently to a work to grind crank pins 12a-12d, correction is made so that the axes of journal parts 10a and 10b at both ends coincide with center holes 36 and 38. Based on the corrected opening parts (center holes) 36 and 38, finish grinding of the journal parts 10a-10d is performed. Thereby, stroke precision of the crank pins 12a-12d of a crank shaft rotationally driven centering around the journal parts 10a-10d is improved, meanwhile, since the journal parts 10a-10d are ground after a work of grinding the crank pins 12a-12d, vibration of each part is also reduced.
