Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prepare a gelatinous or dried food, containing glucomannan and excellent in taste without harshness due to calcium, by kneading a mixture of the glucomannan with water under pressure and forming the resultant kneaded mixture. CONSTITUTION:Water in an amount of 1,000-3,000pts.wt. and, as desired, an adequate amount of seasoning components, dietary fibers or nutritious components are added to 100pts.wt. glucomannan and the resultant mixture is kneaded under pressure, formed and then dipped in hot water or allowed to stand in hot steam to afford a gelatinous food. Alternatively, 300-1,000pts.wt. water is added to 100pts.wt. glucomannan and further an adequate amount of seasoning components, dietary fibers or nutritious components, was desired, are added. The obtained mixture is subsequently kneaded under pressure, formed and then dried to provide the aimed dried food.
