Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To appropriately control a vehicle by compulsorily restraining the output power of an internal combustion engine when various voltages show such a condition that a constant speed running device is still operated even though an operation releasing condition is satisfied. CONSTITUTION:A constant speed control device 100 feed-back controls the opening degree of a throttle valve in an internal combustion engine 108 so as to make the actual speed of a vehicle coincident with a desired vehicle speed, and accordingly, the vehicle runs automatically and constantly at the desired speed. In this arrangement, there are monitored a signal 105 indicating an operation releasing condition in the constant speed running device 101, a power source voltage 103 applied to a control unit 101 in the constant speed running device 100 and a control voltage applied to an actuator control section 102. Further, when the vehicle speed detected by a detecting means 106 exceeds a predetermined value, if the power source voltage 103 and the control voltage 104 are detected even though the operation releasing condition is satisfied, a control means 107 restrains the output power of the internal combustion engine 108.
