CLAMPING GUN DEVICE

PURPOSE:To perform spot welding on a deep welding place of material to be welded by providing electrodes for welding respectively on the tips of first and second arms and providing a supply source of electrification with an ounce copper plate an bus bars as an electric path outward a fixed jig with respect to these electrodes. CONSTITUTION:A piston rod 73 of a pressurizing cylinder device 7 is retreated and the first arm 4 is oscillated in the anticlockwise direction and the second arm 6 is oscillated in the clockwise direction and the material W to be welded is located at a gap between the electrodes 9 for spot welding. Further, the first and second arms 4 and 6 are oscillated in the opposite directions and pressed between the electrodes 9 by extending the piston rod 73. Power receiving chips 15 fitted to the tips of the first and second bus bars 11 and 12 are then pressed and electrified by a portable welding gun 16 arranged outward the fixed jig. By this method, the spot welding can be easily performed on the deep welding place of the material to be welded.
