DISTRIBUTED DATA BASE COMMITMENT PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To shorten a time required for the reflection of updating of a distributed data base by forming an updating display means and allowing a global control part to omit communication unnecessary for the reflection of updating on the basis of said display means. CONSTITUTION:A data operation part 12 in a controlling computer 10 outputs a command for retrieval, updating or the like to local control parts 7 included in respective computers 3, 4 to be controlled. At that time, the operation part 12 outputs an updating command. In case of outputting the updating command, the operation part 12 recognized the computer to be controlled including the control part 7 to which the command is outputted and rewrites an updating display 14, 15, or 16 for the controlling computer or the controlled computer in the updating display means 13. After executing processing by a proper processing unit, the global control part 11 starts commitment processing for reflecting the updating. The control part 11 refers the means 13 so as to omit a commitment instruction to other computers excluding the updated computer. Consequently, the whole commitment processing can be shortened.
