RAILROAD CAR

PURPOSE:To have economical installation of an airconditioning means by installing airconditioning means in a railroad car within its bench, etc., which is arranged in the longitudinal direction of the car, and by eliminating special design and works at the time of installation. CONSTITUTION:An airconditioning means 10 is installed within a bench (long seat) 30 arranged longitudinally in a railroad car 20. This airconditioning means 10 is composed of a compressor 11, condenser 12, blowers 13, 14, evaporator 15, return grill 16, and discharge hole 17, and among them the compressor 11, condenser 12, blowers 13, 14, and evaporator 15 are installed within the bench 30. The return grill 16 is installed at the foot of the bench 30, while the discharge hole 17 at the upper part of the back of bench 30. The evaporator 15 is installed mating with the return grill 16, and the blower 13 is mounted backstream the evaporator 15, while the blower 14 is arranged so that the condenser 12 releases the air after heat exchange to outside the car 20.
