SINKING INSTALLATION OF EXISTING STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To speedily and economically sink an existing structure by forming an insertion hole extending from the upper face to the lower face of the structure, and forming a cavity by the injection of high pressure water in the ground under the structure, thereby sinking it. CONSTITUTION:An insertion hole 2 is formed so as to extend from the upper to the lower face of an existing structure 1, and high pressure water jetting rod 3 is inserted therein. Next, high pressure water is jetted with respect to the ground 4 under the structure 1 for cutting the ground. Then, earth slurry is discharged through the hole 2 so as to form a cavity (h) just under the structure 1. With the self weight of the structure 1, and a load applied by oil pressure and the like, as necessary, the structure 1 is sunk into the cavity (h).
