Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To achieve alignment of a rotor and a stator reliably by clamping a laminate for constituting the stator at a predetermined position in a housing through a combination of a wave washer and a snap ring. CONSTITUTION: The encapsulated stepping motor comprises a rotor 14 and a stator 16 fixed in a housing 10, and bearings 40, 42 for supporting the rotator 14 rotatably in the housing 10. The bearings 40, 42 are arranged closely each other on the shaft 12 of the rotor 14 on same side of the rotor 14. Open end of the housing 10 is covered with a sealing plastic cover 44. The stator 16 comprises a laminate and clamped at a predetermined position in the housing 10 through a combination of a wave washer 66 and a snap ring 68.
