LENS PROTECTIVE COVER OPENING/CLOSING MECHANISM AND CAMERA HAVING SAID LENS PROTECTIVE COVER OPENING/CLOSING MECHANISM

PURPOSE:To prevent photographing from being executed in a state that a protective cover remains closed by obstructing a movement of a manual operating means by a movement control in the protective cover opening direction of an interlocking means and controlling an input operation of a main switch by this manual operating means. CONSTITUTION:A movement of manual operating means 20, 21 is obstructed by a movement control in the protective cover opening direction of an interlocking means 18, and by these manual operating means 20, 21, an input operation of a main switch 30 is controlled. That is, when the interlocking lever 18 dost not move at all due to dust, etc., even if a cover clock plate 20 is moved in the left direction, the cover clock plate 20 moves in the left direction against a protective cover spring 25. Accordingly, an inflection part 20b abuts on a detaining part 18b of the interlocking lever 18, and the movement of the cover clock plate 20 is obstructed. In such a way, a movement of a main switch engaging cam 21 which has been fixed as one body with the cover clock plate 20 is also obstructed, therefore, it is prevented that photographing is executed in a state that a protective cover 6 remains closed.
