METHOD FOR FORMING SPACER FOR ELECTRODE

PURPOSE:To provide a good design spacer for electrodes at low cost by forming a retinal point spacer on the surface of a translucent electrode by means of offset or gravure printing. CONSTITUTION:A base film 2A which is transparent and electrically insulative is provided on the surface of membrane switch resin 1, and a contact 3A consisting of transparent electrode, which is transparent and electrically conductive, is provided on the rear surface of this base film 2A. On the mating surface of this contact 3A, another base film 2B is provided which is equipped on the surface with a contact 3B similar to the contact 3A. On either base film 2A, 2B, a retinal point spacer 4 as spacer for electrodes is printed on the whole surface of transparent electrode or on the contacts 3A, 3B using a clear and electrically insulative ink by means of offset or gravure printing. This accomplishes a good design spacer for electrodes at low manufacturing cost.
