BATTERY WITH RESIDUAL CAPACITY INDICATING FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To completely eliminate uncertainty to the capacity exhausting time of a battery by detecting residual capacity lowered than a specified value with a residual capacity detector, and performing alarm indication separately from residual capacity. CONSTITUTION:A battery with residual capacity indicating function consists of a residual capacity detector 5 which detects the residual capacity of a battery and a residual capacity indicator 6 which indicates the residual capacity based on the detected result. When the residual capacity of a battery is decreased to a specified value, it is detected with the residual capacity detector 5, and an alarm indicator 7 performs alarm indication capable of distinguishing by at least one of an indicating means, an indicating position, an indicating color, and an indicating shape from the residual capacity. The residual capacity indication and the alarm indication are made with the battery itself in simple construction.
