JUMPING CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR DISK DEVICE

PURPOSE:To realize a stable jumping access by using a jumping pulse generating circuit, a 1st detecting means which generates a deceleration pulse, a deceleration pulse integrating circuit, and a 2nd detecting means which controls the jumping pulse generating circuit to stop the generation of the deceleration pulse. CONSTITUTION:When a start signal is supplied to a control terminal 7, a jumping pulse generating circuit 8 generates and acceleration pulse and then a deceleration pulse generates in case level '1' is detected by a level detecting circuit 12. The generation of the deceleration pulse is stopped by the detection output of a level detecting circuit 15 which detects the integrated value of an integrating circuit 13. This detection output corresponds to the time point when the integrated value of the negative gradient is equal to zero as a 2nd detection level. In such a way, a stable jumping access is attained.
