Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To form a shift fork which is light in weight and has excellent abrasion resistance and high strength by forming the main body part of the shift fork with aluminum or aluminum alloy, forming the pat part with pat material consisting of an abrasion resistant aluminum alloy, and welding the main body and the pat material with aluminum solder. CONSTITUTION:A shift fork for transmission 1 has a main body 2 made of an aluminum die-cast and a pat part 4 having an abrasion resistance provided on a slidably contacting part with the transmission mechanism of the main body 2. After the pat part 4 gives the one face of a pat material, which is made of an aluminum alloy and have an abrasion resistance, aluminum solder plating 5, the pat part 4 makes the face part weld to the main body 2 made of the aluminum die-cast. Thus, by using the pat material of the aluminum alloy to have the abrasion resistance at the pat part 4 and using aluminum solder for welding with the main body part 2 made of the aluminum die-cast, the main body part 2 made of the shift fork 1 and the pat part 4 are approximately integrated in one body and the light weight shift fork to have the abrasion resistance are manufactured at the slidably contacting part with the transmission mechanism.
