COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC RECORDING MATERIAL FOR DYE DIFFUSION TRANSFER

PURPOSE: To obtain a material capable of easy development by heat treatment by allowing a color forming compd. to exist in a binder layer in the form of a dispersion of ironically modified polymer particles charged with the color forming compd. CONSTITUTION: A color forming compd. is incorporated into a binder layer in the form of a dispersion of ionically modified polymer particles charged with the color forming compd. The modified polymer is mainly an ionomeric polyaddition or polycondensation product having ionic groups or groups convertible into ionic groups by 4-180 milliequiv., preferably 4-100 milliequiv. per 100g and contg. 1-20wt.% alkylene oxide units represented by the formula CH2 -CH2 -O in a side chain or a polyether chain contained in the principal chain. The resultant material can be developed by heat treatment without requiring a technologically delicate device and labor for preparing a fine dispersion.
