CURTAIN RAIL DEVICE IN DECORATIVE USE

PURPOSE:To obtain a device which is silent and almost the same appearance as ordinary style by the hand, by a method wherein an ultrasonic type of motor is used to drive a ring-runner mounted outsidely so as to be freely movable on a rod. CONSTITUTION:A screw shaft (16) is passed through on center axis of a tubing rod (10) and rotated with the rotor of an ultrasonic type of motor (20), since one end of its shaft is supported on a bearing inside a decorative part and the other end of its shaft is connected with the output shaft of the motor (20). When two kinds of high frequency voltage with phase difference are applied on piezoelectric element of the ultrasonic type of motor (20), its rotor and the screw shaft (16) are revolved in one direction, and when the phase difference is reversed, they are revolved in reverse. It is therefore possible to open and close a curtain automatically since a lead ring-runner is moved when the ultrasonic type of motor (20) is controlled. Since the motor (20) is installed inside the tubing rod (10), this device has the same appearance as ordinary style except wiring, and since the motor (20) is silent, no noise is produced.
