Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a sufficient antistatic effect to a back coat layer and to prevent magnetic transfer by incorporating oxide superconductor powder into the back coat layer. CONSTITUTION:The back coat layer contains the oxide superconductor powder. Since the oxide superconductor powder has no electric resistance at all, the back coat layer is decreased in the surface electric resistance and has the suffi cient antistatic effect. The back coat layer has a magnetic shielding effect by the Meissner effect of the oxide superconductor powder and prevents the magnetic transfer between the magnetic layers generated when the magnetic recording media are superposed on each other. The oxide superconductor powder is Y1Sr1Ba4Cu6O14-s powder or the oxide superconductor powder of a YBaCuO system or BiSrCaCuO system or TlCaBaCuO system.
