AIRBRUSH PROCESSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To omit the calculation processing for a masking area by using a mask memory which masks partly a processing subject area with a prescribed pattern and a coordinate position designating means which moves the mask memory on a picture memory and inhibiting the airbrush processing in the selective areas of the picture memory. CONSTITUTION:The mask pattern position is designated on a masking memory by securing the interlocking relation between a center position 31 of a mask pattern and a coordinate position designating means like a mouse 32, etc. The mask pattern moves in the moving direction of the mouse 32. Thus the mask pattern can be moved to an optional position. The coordinates to undergo the airbrush processing are designated by another coordinate position designating means after the mask pattern is moved to an optional masking position. Then no processing is carried out at the side where the mask pattern is set against the position designated by a tablet. While the airbrush processing is carried out only at the side designated by the tablet where no mask pattern is set. Thus no calculation processing is required for the masking range.
