CONTAINER TAKE-OUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To shorten a time and to enable handling of a large quantity of containers, by a method wherein, in a take-out device for containers aligned and piled up on a cage carrier type pallet, the container at each stage is gripped from a side and conveyed onto a carrier conveyor through combination of a raising, a horizontal movement, and a lowering work. CONSTITUTION:A cage carrier type pallet 6 is conveyed to a take-out device by means of a pallet feed device 7, and a horizontal frame 4A of an elevating device 4 is raised and a gripping device 5 is moved forward to a position above the pallet 6. A container 30 on an topmost stage being a container at one stage is gripped in one lot from a side by means of the gripping device 5. The gripping device 5 is moved backward, the horizontal frame 4A is lowered, and the container 30 is transferred onto a delivery device 1. The containers 30 are orderly delivered by means of the delivery device 1. The horizontal frame 4A and the gripping 5 repeat a similar motion described above. This constitution automates a handling work, and enables take-out of a large quantity of the containers.
