Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: To limit a fuel pump suitably by detecting that the speed of an internal combustion engine is above a speed limit, and providing a speed limit sensor for controlling the speed of the fuel pump to a value below the minimum speed. CONSTITUTION: A control circuit 2 calculates the necessary fuel rate of an internal combustion engine according to engine speed 3, engine load 4, fuel temperature 5, power voltage 6 and other information 7. After duty ratio 10 is changed in response to the said rate, an electric fuel pump 1 is controlled via an output stage 8. In this case, a speed limit sensor 9 is provided in the control circuit 2. When speed 3 of the internal combustion engine is above a speed limit, the duty ratio 10 is changed and the speed of the electric fuel pump 1 is controlled to a value below the minimum fuel delivery rate. Thus, the fuel delivery rate for the electric fuel pump 1 is limited without losing the actuating pressure of the fuel injection device and increasing the generation of harmful materials. |
