AUTOMATIC FEEDING DEVICE FOR PARTS

PURPOSE:To cope with a many machine type small quantity production system by automatically arranging and feeding valve guides in line with two types of cylinder heads by means of a single device at the time of press fitting a valve guide into a cylinder head. CONSTITUTION:A parts distributing device 16 has plate feeders 24a, 24b for arrangingly conveying valve guides 27a, 27b in addition to part feeders 22a, 22b for feeding valve guides 26a, 26b. Hence, the valves 27a, 27b sent out of the parts feeders 24a, 24b to distributing mechanisms 32a, 32b are fallingly fed into the hole portion of an upside positioning plate 72 forming an automatic parts feeding device 10 via tubular bodies 63a, 63b. Further, the valve guides 27a, 27b are fed into the hole portion of a down-side positioning plate 78 via tubular bodies 83a, 83b and, then fittingly held into the hole portions of the parts holding members 98a, 98b. Then, the valve guides 27a, 27b are press fitted into a cylinder head by the driving actions of cylinders 86, 92.
