Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent generation of corrosion products in a power generation plant by filtering off impurities in a high temperature feed wafer to the plant with a filter composed of permeable ceramics. CONSTITUTION:A strainer 50 equipped with ceramic filters is arranged between an economizer 24 and a feed water heater 22 of a power generation plant as a feed water filtration apparatus. The ceramic strainer 50 consists of a closed vessel equipped with three nozzles, i.e., a feed water inlet 51, feed water outlet 52 and a condensed liquid outlet 53. Ceramic filters 57 are installed removably at partition plates 56 in the closed vessel. The ceramic filter 57 has a hollow tubular shape and is composed of a porous substance such as alumina. The feed water has its impurities removed by fine pores formed in the ceramic filters 57 and oozes out of the outer face of filters. It is possible, therefore, to remove efficiently the impurities which cause scale formation in the pipings.
